The trail network consists of 2 loops creating the backbone to the greater areas. The loops range in distance from 10 – 17 km and are easy to advanced level in difficulty.

Varkensfontein offers two beautiful rivers and dams where guests can enjoy catch-and-release fishing while creating some of the best memories with kids, family and friends.
Species include largemouth bass, carp, barber and bream. The dams are surrounded by various large trees with outcrops and mountainous scenery, note it is also home to crocodiles and hippopotamus.
Although we do not hunt other than managing the game count on the farm, Varkensfontein it is often used by Hunting Outfitters as a basecamp.
