Note the lodge can only be rented as a whole to one group. The rate includes personnel to clean and also prepare the fireplaces. Wood is supplied, but please use it moderately.
The water is drinkable but has a strong iron taste. We offer filtered water but should you have a huge group it is recommended to fill up with more water supply.
A generator is available and guests need to bring their own clean diesel.
DSTV can be arranged at R100 per day
The lodge will provide clean crisp linen, towels, as well as all cutlery, pots, and pans. It is recommended to bring additional ice, although ice is available at a small fee.
Seasonal info: Summer (October – March) temperatures range from minimums of 20˚ C to maximums of 38°C with hot days and cooler nights. Winter temperatures from May to September/late October with temperatures from 10˚C to 24˚C.
The campsite can comfortably accommodate 4- 6 campers. Solar energy for lights and traditional donkie for hot water.

All indemnity forms have to be signed and returned before embankment on the farm. Children under 18 have to be accompanied by parents or persons older than 21 years.
USEFUL INFORMATION
Remember to bring: Cameras, binoculars, bird and wildlife reference books, a hat and sunblock. Cool clothing for summer and warm for winter are advised as the region is subject to sudden weather changes, particularly in the mountains.
